Overview
Style Sync is flat-file integration. A Style Sync integration adds, updates, drops, and deletes styles in your JOOR account directly from your ERP. A Style Sync integration also allows you to manage linesheets and load images if you are able to pass through this information from your ERP. The integration can run as frequently as once every hour. The style file should be a direct export from your ERP with no manual edits and must be automatically sent to JOOR's FTP server.
Requirements
The following requirements will ensure your style data is loaded successfully:
- We accommodate 2 common formats as file options: CSV and TXT.
- The delimiter can be standard (,), pipe (|), semicolon (;), tab, or space - we recommend using pipe (|) as the delimiter.
- An action code column is required. Action codes can be client-specific values that are mapped to the following actions:
- Add: Creates new style, or updates style if it already exists
- Update: Updates style data
- Drop: Drops style from specified (non-custom) linesheets
- Delete: Deletes style entirely from JOOR and all linesheets
- To manage size order display within a style you must either:
- Include a Size Order column in your Style Sync file
- List sizes in the correct display order
- To manage linesheets:
- Include Season Name and Season Year in separate columns
- Linesheets can have only one set of dates. For multiple deliveries, please indicate this in the linesheet name
- To manage images:
- Make sure you send images to the FTP prior to sending style data.
- Images must be submitted as any of the following image types with a maximum individual file size of 4MB:
- JPEG (.jpeg/.jpg)
- PNG (.png)
- GIF (.gif)
- Product images should be saved in the following format: stylenumber_color_order.
- Colour swatch images should be 200x200 pixels and saved to match the colour name.
- More images can be uploaded at anytime using a shared online repository (i.e. Dropbox) link and submitted through the Data Submission Portal
The table below shows all the style fields you can populate through the integration. Fields marked with “Y” are required fields. Before testing the integration, make sure you are providing the required and suggested data fields in your style file.
Reporting
Success and error report emails are generated every time a file is processed via the integrations. If you and your team wish to receive these report emails, please specify the recipients’ email addresses and we will set them up accordingly.
