Overview
User permissions are a set of authorised actions assigned to each user by their Account Admin. This enables access to different functionalities offered on JOOR. Permissions for each user vary depending on different factors, like if the account is integrated to an external program, or if a team has decided on specific workflows.
Account Admins can either set up their users permissions directly on the Self Serve Permissions page themselves or utilise this template to easily designate permissions to each user. The completed document should be presented to your JOOR Customer Success Manager to be implemented.
User permissions are broken down into six categories and can be removed to act as a restrictions.
Note: Only an Account Admin user can update the user permissions of a user. If you believe you need your permissions updated, please reach out to your Account Admin user.
Account Permissions
Account user permissions may allow a user to make edits to the overall settings of their brand’s JOOR account. Permissions can include access to editing Brand Account Information, like profile privacy, or to global Style, Order, Payment, or Inventory Settings.
Connection Permissions
Permissions for Connections may allow a user to make edits to a retailer’s Customer Specific Data. This area contains details such as connection’s assigned Customer Code and Alias, Currencies, Budgets, Buyers, Discounts, and Shipping Addresses.
A user with Connection permissions may also have the ability to delete existing connections.
Inventory Permissions
Inventory permissions can allow a user to edit or update the existing inventories in JOOR. The ability to oversell a style without available inventory is also included in this permission category.
Linesheet Permissions
Certain linesheet user permissions may allow a user to share, add, edit, archive, or delete individual linesheets or perform these actions in bulk. A user may also be given the ability to sync linesheets to the iPad app as well as make linesheets public.
Order Permissions
Order permissions can allow users to add discounts directly to orders, create custom PO#s, add or edit events, cancel styles, change the order’s delivery date, or place orders under a style’s minimum requirement.
Order permissions are also where a user may be granted the ability to set orders to an Approved status, or to make edits to orders already in an Approved or Shipped status.
Additionally, if your brand’s account is integrated into an external program for orders, permissions to re-export orders or mark orders as exported are also found in this category.
Style Permissions
Style permissions may allow a user to create new styles, or make edits to existing styles on a brand account. Edits may include a style’s images, UPCs, division, and other style data.
