Overview
The JOOR for Buyers iPad app is the perfect companion to JOOR’s Pro Retail web experience, allowing buyers to shop linesheets and create orders while on the go.
Getting Set Up
- Click this link to download JOOR for Buyers from the App Store to your iPad
- Login using the email and password associated with your JOOR account
You can see and manage additional account settings from the Profile tab on the bottom navigation bar, including the following:
- If any of your account data (such as seasons, doors, attributes, etc.) is updated, make sure to tap Refresh Data so you can see the same updates on your iPad.
- To sign out of your session and return to the login screen, tap Sign Out. Any local user data, including downloaded linesheets, will be cleared, including Workspaces that have not yet been saved to the web.
Viewing and Downloading Linesheets
- To browse the connected brands and their linesheets, Tap Linesheets on the bottom of the navigation bar to access the Linesheets List page.
- Switch between different brands by tapping on the brand selector at the top of the screen.
- If you want to access any linesheets while disconnected from WiFi or Cellular Data, tap Download under the Actions column. After your linesheet downloads, you will be able to update your downloaded linesheet when connected to WiFi or Cellular Data. You will also have the option to remove the download from your iPad.
- Tap Update under Actions to update your linesheet with the latest changes.
- To remove the downloaded linesheet from your iPad simply click on Remove from iPad.
Note: If you select a brand with no linesheets available, an empty message will display in the Linesheet List page table. Your account must be connected to a brand to view their shared linesheets. If you do not see the linesheet you need, please contact your customer success representative.
Shopping
How to Start Shopping
- Select a Brand in the header of the linesheet list page, then tap on Done
- Tap any available linesheet to view the available products
Navigating Catalog
- Scroll up and down to view all products for a particular brand
- Tap on any product to view the product detail page, which contains additional information and media
- To change the currency, tap the currency selector in the top-left corner
- To filter the available products, tap the Filter Options button in the top right corner. Select a filter, and then tap the Apply to refine your product selection.
Adding Products from a Linesheet to a Workspace
There are two ways to add products to your Workspace:
- From the catalog page, by tapping the swatch colour of a product
- From the product detail page, by tapping the checkbox next to any colour.
- To view your selected products in your Workspace, tap on View Workspace in the top right corner.
Creating and Editing Workspaces
There are three ways to create a new Workspace:
- To start a blank Workspace, navigate to your Workspace List page using the Workspaces button on the bottom tab and tap the Create Workspace button in the top right corner
- To create a Workspace from an existing Brand Note, tap Brand Notes on the top left corner of your Workspace List page to view your list of Brand Notes. Tap the checkmark next to one or more rows to convert the Brand Notes to Workspaces.
- To start a Workspace from the Catalog page, select products from a brand’s linesheet
Add/Edit Doors & Clusters
Each row in the table is a product-color-door, with Bulk being the default until doors are added.
- To add a door, tap on the Edit Doors button in the bottom right corner
- To create clusters, tap on Create Clusters after selecting a Door
Edit Units
There are three ways to edit units:
- Use the plus and minus buttons
- Tap into the units field and type a quantity using your keyboard
- Copy and paste units from one product to another using the checkmarks and Copy Units and Paste Units buttons on the bottom toolbar
Duplicate a Workspace
- To duplicate Workspace, tap Copy Workspace
Edit Product Attributes
- To apply attributes, switch to the Attribute view on the Workspace Editor page
- Tap the Add Attributes button in the bottom right corner to open the Attribute picker.
- Select attribute options using the picker and select products using the checkboxes
- When you are ready, tap the Apply button to apply your selected attribute options to your selected products
Note: To apply product attributes, you must be connected to the Internet.
Update Product Information
You can update most product data points, such as a price or description:
- Tap any product row to open the product detail page
- Tap the pencil icon next to any field to update the value
- Tap the Manage Images tab to reorder or upload new product images or to edit product details and manage product images
Create a Custom Product
- Tap the Add Custom Product button on the Workspace Editor page
- Product data such as sizes, prices, and colours can be added by tapping the pencil icon next to each field
- Custom images can be uploaded by tapping on the Manage Images tab
- Custom images can be reordered through drag and drop
- Colour level images can be assigned using drag and drop
- Tap Edit on the Assortment Information bar to type your Assortment Name and check which season you are buying for.
- Once completed, tap Done on the top right of the Assortment Information bar.
- Then tap Submit Assortment button in the top right corner to create your Workspace. You will then be redirected to the Workspace page. Now, you can continue to work on this Workspace from either your iPad or web browser.
