Overview
Once you have successfully logged into your JOOR retail account, we highly recommend customising your profile.
Your profile is essential for brands to determine if you are the right retail partner. Providing accurate contact information ensures brands can easily reach out to the right person and adding which categories and brands you carry helps them decide if their brand fits in your assortment.
You have the ability to add a logo image, brief description, web links, locations, buyer information, brands carried, and images of your store(s). Both connected and unconnected brands will be able to view your profile information to learn more about you!
Editing Your Profile
- Log into your JOOR account
- Click Manage Profile from the Main Navigation menu bar.
- This brings you to your profile page. You can edit your profile by clicking on the Edit Page button in the top right corner of the page.
- Basic Information (Description, web links, logo and store images etc.)
- Specific information for primary and other locations:
- Year Established
- Address & Contact Information
- Wholesale & Clientele information
- Categories
- Brands Carried
- Once you click on Edit Page, a new window will appear where you can customize your profile. Update your information on the page. Make sure to add all relevant information to the profile so brands who see your profile get a good understanding of who you are, if they fit your assortment, and how to contact you!
You will be able to create primary and secondary locations for your retail stores, and customise them by specific categories, demographics, and styles. Adding different sections for each of your locations helps you attract brands looking for specific geographic locations or trends.
- Once you have made the updates click the Save and View button to save all changes!
Managing Your Settings
My Settings allows you to manage your personal account information as well as your Retailer Account information.
- Hover over the Gear icon in the top-right corner and click on My Settings
- Manage My Account allows you to edit your personal account information
- User Name: The email or username you use to log in to JOOR
- Showroom/Parent Company
- User profile: Add your display user name, Title, phone number and a profile picture(so the brands can put a face to a name). Click on the edit option to add this information.
- Email Address: You can update your email address here
- Languages: Set your default language here
- Password: Allows you to update your password
- Email Settings: Allows you to unsubscribe from different emails
- Data format: Lets you update your date format: the default is mm/dd/yyyy
- Landing Page: Allows you to set a default display page when you first log in
- Retailer Account Information allows you to make global updates to your retail account
- Profile Name: Will update your store name for all of your connections and is how your name will appear in the marketplace.
- Email: Is the admin email on the account.
- POS system
- Buyer Name: Is the name of the person that will appear on all of your PO#s
- Connection Permission: Allows you to either accept or reject connection requests or to let any brand connect to you immediately.
- Privacy: Allows you to set whether you are searchable in the marketplace. If you do not want Brands to find you can choose to hide your account from the search. This not affect the visibility of any of your current connections.
