Overview
For Pro Brands, the "Made to Order" option determines if an order will be linked to the inventory uploaded into JOOR. If you are not utilizing inventory on JOOR, all items will be marked as Made to Order. There are two reasons why a style or a linesheet will appear as Made to Order.
Made to Order on the Linesheet Level
On each LineSheet there is an Inventory setting where you can select if the order is Made to order Yes or No.
- Yes means that orders placed off this linesheet will not attempt to pull inventory
- No means that orders placed off this linesheet will attempt to pull inventory
Navigate to Products > Manage Linesheets > select the Linesheet of your choice > Click on Edit Linesheet from the 3 dots visible next to each Linesheet.
Then you can see the option where you can mark Inventory as ‘Made to order’ or not.
Made to Order on the Style Level
For an order to pull inventory, inventory must be loaded before the order is placed. If a style has not been added to your warehouse then the style will appear as Made to Order, regardless of the linesheet settings.
If you are not seeing inventory appear or update when you place an order, check that the style has been loaded and you are selecting the correct warehouse and delivery date.
If you are placing pre-orders and would like them to pull from inventory at a later date, reach out to our support team at support@joor.com to discuss your workflow and business needs.
