Overview

As of December 27, 2018, JOOR's password standards were changed in order to provide users with increased security. Any password created after that date will need to conform to these new standards.

Standards

  • At least 10 Characters

  • At least 1 upper case letter

  • At least 1 number

  • At least 1 special character (@, !, #, $, etc.)

Any password created before that date remains valid until that password is reset. However, we do recommend that all users reset their passwords to keep up with updated security standards.

Security Features

When attempting to log in, if you fail to enter the correct password 3 times within a one-hour time frame, you will be prompted to reset your password.

You will see a warning message each of the first two times you enter the incorrect password.

On the third failed attempt, you will receive instructions to reset your password.

After submitting your email address on this form, you will be sent an email by our system with a link to reset your password. Once you submit a password that conforms to the standards above, you will be able to log in to JOOR.

Please keep in mind that JOOR does not have visibility of your password, and will never ask you for it over the phone or via email.

Updating Your Password From Your Web Account

You'll have the ability to update your password from JOOR by going to your My Settings page.

Once under My Settings, under the section My JOOR Account, click Edit that's to Password.

In the box labeled New Password, list your new password and then list it again in the box labeled Confirm New Password. After the new password has been listed in each box, click Save Changes.
